Serious vulnerability in Apple iMessage
A number of users messaging Apple iMessage victims previously unknown hacker attacks, when their systems iMessage were filled with hundreds of random messages from unknown senders. Attack runs on Mac OS X and iOS. Security experts say Flooding works as long as the program is simply not "fall" in the system.
According to the website The Next Web, the attack is not widespread and has affected a relatively small group of developers of Apple, which reported that they had received thousands of junk messages. Apple has blocked Java in Mac OS X
Apple has blocked Java in Mac OS X due to the fact that Oracle is still not fix the vulnerability.
January 25, Saturday, the Mac OS X users suddenly faced with the fact that programs written in the programming language Java, stopped working. So, Apple has blocked Java because of security problems.
Java enables programmers to develop many web-based applications and cross-platform applications that are installed on different operating systems, including Mac OS X also from Apple. Recall that in early January, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security recommended to disable Java in the web-browser to prevent possible hackers. Oracle has released updates for known vulnerabilities in Java, however, ministry officials believe that Java still has gaps.

Apple eliminated nine critical vulnerabilities in QuickTime
Apple Inc. has released a new version of QuickTime for Windows, which eliminated nine vulnerabilities.
Apple Inc. has released QuickTime version 7.7.3 for Windows, which eliminated nine vulnerabilities multimedia player. All underlying vulnerability can cause denial-of-service application or execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Among the flaws are fixed numerous bugs can be noted in the processing and TeXML PICT files that allows you to call and memory corruption and buffer overflow. For the exploitation of these vulnerabilities an attacker must entice the victim to open a specially crafted file or visit the web-page containing the exploit.
The new version of QuickTime supports Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. Users of the player as soon as possible is recommended to install the update from the manufacturer.
